Dekoloniale city tour

»From Obscurity into the public eye«

Together with Vitjitua Ndjiharine (NAM), Maya Alam (D/USA) and Lulu Jemimah - the 3 artists of the Dekoloniale Residency 2022 - as well as historians and activists, who will each give short inputs, we will visit important historical sites of the anticolonial resistance in the south of Berlin. The festival focuses on the artistic works and urban interventions of the Dekoloniale Berlin Residents 2022, as well as places of colonial migrant biographies, which we visit and historically classify as part of a full-day, decolonial city walk.
