The third »Dekoloniale [Re]Visionen-Think Tank« of the year 2023 deals with the topic of transnational cooperations in difficult historical contexts from a psychodynamic perspective.
As part of the cooperation with the Berlin European premiere of the Namibian opera Chief Hijangua, »Dekoloniale Memory Culture in the City« in such a way contributes a multi-level process support workshop with the Cologne-based psychodynamic supervisor & coach Dr. Amma Yeboah. The workshop was open to all Namibian, South African and German team colleagues of Chief Hijangua 2023 (artistic direction, direction, production, performers, choir and orchestra) Berlin. For the transnational project teams of Chief Hjjangua a common space for reflection was to be provided, which enables the cooperation to be discussed according to the respective needs and concerns, in order to create the best possible working atmosphere for the preparation and realization of the Berlin premiere of Chief Hjjangua 2023. We hope to thus gain all-round learning experiences on what is required for a good cooperation in the context of transnational collaborations, especially those in difficult historical contexts. In the evaluation meeting on Sunday morning, the participating Namibian and German creatives will come together to review in an exchange with Dr. Yeboah.
