At Friedrichsfelde Palace - a picturesque, neoclassical pleasure palace in northeast Berlin - the ghosts of history make themselves known. Summoned by a syncretic Afro-Caribbean prayer ceremony, embodied spirits emerge and guide us through the halls of the former Rosenfelde Palace. Sold from Gross Friedrichsburg on the Gold Coast, these ghosts of history populate Friedrichsfelde Palace, which was built in part with the profits from their enslavement.
