Instalación de la residente Dekoloniale Gladys Kalichini

“Barroco/Ver con los ojos cerrados” es una instalación hecha de telas texturizadas envueltas alrededor de linternas en la entrada del zoológico, el camino hacia el castillo. La instalación hace referencia al estilo arquitectónico conocido como barroco y conceptualiza ideas sobre la " grandeza" y la puesta en escena de espectáculos en conexión con las narrativas coloniales alemanas. En el período barroco se utilizaron deliberadamente detalles, contrastes, movimiento y colores para crear una impresión grandiosa. Este proyecto refleja el colonialismo como una empresa de represión complejamente diseñada y articulada.
