Presentación del libro: »¿Descolonizar el Museo?«

Muchos museos y colecciones son objeto de críticas públicas debido a su participación en contextos coloniales. Llegar a un acuerdo con su propia historia y práctica de exhibición está muy retrasado. Tres museos de Berlín se han propuesto dar una mirada autocrítica a su colonialismo: el Museo Brücke, el Museo Alemán de Tecnología y el Stadtmuseum Berlin. Los colaboradores brindan información sobre este proceso de reflexión, las posibilidades de transformación y las consecuencias resultantes para la práctica del museo. De esta manera, brindan impulsos para el procesamiento intensivo y de largo plazo del tema, que puede servir de inspiración para otros museos.
