ALIBETA es un artista políticamente comprometido -un tejedor que se mueve entre diferentes mundos artísticos de la música, el cine, el teatro- y que pone el trabajo en red en el centro de su trabajo y compromiso. Explora diferentes territorios sonoros y visuales, mezclando todo tipo de elementos cósmicos y cosmopolitas para ofrecernos actuaciones dignas de un auténtico ritual. Desde el Afro-Jazz a los cantos Serer, desde el Afro-Root a los cantos Mandinga, el artista nacido en Tambakounda (Senegal) juega con las más puras influencias de África Occidental, utilizando con humildad la palabra de los maestros Dogon y dejándose arrastrar a ciegas por su cosmogonía. Se le acompaña también en una contemplación desmedida, que se encuentra bajo el sello de un credo casi espiritual: »África es ahora«.
